Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Holiday rotation with core staff
\n• First to float to Telemetry and any ED ICU/Telemetry holds
\n• Maintain 2:1 patient ratios in 32-bed ICU unit (licensed for 40 beds)
\n• Unit organized in pods of 8 beds each
\n• Cerner EMR experience required
\n• Charge nurse responsibilities available with no patient assignment
\n• Resource RN position may include patient assignment
\n• Required to read and interpret own telemetry strips (no monitor techs)
\n• Administer various drips including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
\n• Manage ventilated patients
\n• Care for high-acuity patients including neuro, cardiac, PCI, sepsis, ETOH, stroke, TBI with Camino ICP monitoring
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• CCRN certification preferred
\n• 3 years of experience preferred
\n• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue for RNs
\n• No acrylic nails or gel polish allowed during assignment
\n• Floor-specific orientation includes ICU educator and preceptor training
\n• Participate in huddle report and bedside report
