Job Description
Bilingual Legal Assistant for workers' compensation law firm located in Irvine CA.
This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity paying $23-28/hr depending on experience. This is an ON SITE position. Hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, overtime possible, when needed. Benefits include medical insurance and PTO.
 
Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct research to support legal proceedings</li>
<li>Communicate case information directly with applicants</li>
<li>Process applications</li>
<li>Calendar and schedule events</li>
<li>Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents</li>
<li>Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes</li>
<li>Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations</li>
<li>Record and store applicant information</li>
<li>Communicate with doctor's offices and insurance carriers</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST</li>
<li>Min 2 years experience as a Paralegal or other legal field with workers' compensation</li>
<li>Familiarity with legal research</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Deadline and detail-oriented</li>
