Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A California-licensed Physical Therapist is needed to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Pittsburg, CA, and is available for the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and assessing students physical therapy needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitoring and documenting student outcomes
- Providing consultative support to school staff regarding physical therapy practices and accommodations
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in California
- Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy interventions and school-based practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and school personnel
- Commitment to supporting student success and participation in educational activities
