Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to manage and coordinate all building and production maintenance-related activities at Actek Enterprises.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement and ensure compliance with all fire, safety, risk, environmental and health and safety regulations.
Minimize machine downtime through optimum use of preventative maintenance program and best practices.
Troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems on warehouse/production equipment and plan for and take corrective action; make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Make repairs to offices and property grounds as needed.
Maintain accurate and up to date maintenance records.
Utilize good housekeeping practices for a clean, organized warehouse and parts storage area.
Shop spare parts and supplies to obtain best pricing considering quality, service, and equipment specifications.
Actively participate in regular maintenance meetings with the Production Manager and supervisors.
Complete all other duties and tasks which may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

High School diploma or GED
Five years industrial maintenance experience.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations for manufacturing industries.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics
Basic understanding of electrical systems and CNC equipment
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematic.
Strong fabrication and welding skills
Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift.
Basic computer skills.
Basic math skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all
Must be able to speak and understand Spanish
Work overtime and weekends as needed.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
Must be able to visually inspect machines.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
