- Monday – Friday Approximately 28 hours per week (within the hours of 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Position Overview
DB Insurance is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tech Support Intern to gain hands-on experience in a corporate IT operations environment. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in corporate IT operations and is ideal for recent graduates pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Interns will build both technical and professional skills in a supportive environment, gaining confidence in day-to-day IT operations within a fast-paced corporate setting. From hardware setup to system management, this internship offers meaningful exposure to a wide range of IT functions.
Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities
Hands-on IT Support
- Learn how to set up user workstations, including assembling monitors, managing LAN cables, and configuring Windows accounts.
- Assist IT with on/offboarding tasks, including data backups and removing hard drives from departing employees’ devices.
- Provide first-line technical support for common IT issues including software errors, connectivity problems, and user inquiries.
Systems & Network Exposure
- Gain experience managing vendor communications, requesting quotes, and tracking equipment through the IT Asset Management system.
- Learn to use IT ticketing platforms and assist with documenting process improvements and automation tasks. Work with internet service providers, manage network devices, and maintain SAS workstations.
- Assist with creating and managing virtual desktops and coordinating vendor support tickets.
Security & Access Management
- Observe tasks related to user access management within Google Workspace and BIS systems.
- Participate in key card access control and help monitor for potential data leaks.
- Maintain distribution lists for agents, banks, and other external partners.
- Assist with IVR system updates and account modifications.
Qualifications
- Graduated with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and consistently produces accurate, high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
