Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Places orders for replacement of sanitation and cleaning supplies;
- Replaces light bulbs and fixtures in production offices and lunch room;
- Cleans production offices including emptying trash containers;
- Cleans drinking fountains and sinks
- Cleans refrigerators and microwave ovens in production area;
- Paints preparation (scrape, brush, and prime);
- Paints inside and outside of buildings;
- Mops floors/cleans up spills; and
- Spot cleans carpets;
- Assists mechanics with daily responsibilities;
- Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and
- Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some experience in building or facilities maintenance work is desirable.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaners;
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions;
- Ability to organize and follow own work schedule; and
- Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others.
