Hardware Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our hardware products during production. This position requires a strong understanding of hardware engineering principles and experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production teams to address hardware-related challenges during the manufacturing process.
- Utilize FPGA and CPLD technologies to support production hardware designs.
- Develop and maintain schematics using Schematic Cad tools.
- Write and optimize scripts in Perl and Python for production automation and testing.
- Conduct tests using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies to verify hardware functionality.
- Assist in the design and implementation of embedded systems and microcontroller applications.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to Ethernet, DDR, LVDS, and Serdes interfaces.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on hardware engineering best practices.
- Document hardware designs, test plans, and production support activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware engineering and production support.
- Strong knowledge of FPGA, CPLD, and microcontroller technologies.
- Proficiency in using Schematic Cad tools and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Perl and Python.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and MS Office tools.
- Understanding of embedded systems and hardware design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
