Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Lead to set up and operate CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling. This role involves accepting and rejecting First Article Inspections, identifying non-conformances, and correcting dimensions as necessary. The candidate will possess strong experience with tolerances and precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. The role also requires experience in CNC troubleshooting and program editing using M-Codes and G-Codes, as well as monitoring tooling and working with stainless steel and aluminum.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines for various machining tasks.
- Perform First Article Inspections and make necessary corrections.
- Identify and correct non-conformances.
- Edit CNC programs using M-Codes and G-Codes.
- Troubleshoot CNC machines and monitor tooling.
- Supervise in the absence of a supervisor and train new employees.
- Prepare work orders and utilize CMMS.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in CNC machining and setups.
- Experience with Okuma mills and lathes.
- Knowledge of 3-axis machining and CNC troubleshooting.
- Ability to edit CNC programs using G-Codes and M-Codes.
- Familiarity with dimensional inspections and precision measuring tools.
- Experience in working with stainless steel and aluminum.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CMMS.
- Manual mill experience.

Work Environment
Work in a clean facility with newer machines, offering both a 1st shift from 5:15 AM to 1:45 PM and a 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. Enjoy a structured schedule while working with advanced CNC technology.

This is a Permanent position based out of Carson, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $68640.00/yr.

Supervise machines
Test run parts
Drilling, grinding, milling etc.
Blueprints
Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts.
