We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in a legal setting. This role will support attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks, including drafting documents, coordinating case deadlines, and maintaining organized case files.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular updates to clients and maintain accurate case documentation
- Draft and proofread pleadings and legal correspondence under attorney supervision
- Prepare and track discovery requests, subpoenas, and related deadlines
- Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and supporting materials
- Schedule hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related events
- Assist in gathering and reviewing records, evidence, and case materials
- Support case preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial
- Perform general administrative tasks such as calendar management and coordination with clients or third parties
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in personal injury or litigation within a legal environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with legal practice management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, or similar platforms) preferred
Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00
