Maintenance Electrical Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Mira Loma, CA
Shift: 1st Shift (Daytime)

Compensation: $30.75 – $33.25 per hour, based on experience
Magnolia Foods LLC, a leading manufacturer of tortillas, chips, baked goods, and Latin-inspired specialties, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrical Technician to join our 1st shift operations. This role is essential to ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of equipment and facilities in a high-volume food manufacturing environment.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Electrical Technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. This hands-on role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and facility equipment

Troubleshoot and service Ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems commonly used in industrial applications

Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, manuals, and manufacturer instructions

Inspect and measure parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using testing instruments and observation

Fabricate and install replacement parts using machine shop equipment

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory levels

Mentor new team members and share technical knowledge

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, SQF, and other regulatory standards

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company procedures and safety protocols

Attend training workshops to stay current with industry standards and technical advancements

Properly use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE)

Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all safety-related policies

Support the company’s quality assurance and food safety programs
Qualifications
-
Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a food manufacturing or industrial setting

Familiarity with refrigeration systems (Ammonia and Freon) preferred

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals

Skilled in using precision measuring tools and machine shop equipment

Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team during daytime operations
