We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Technician in the Engineering industry to join our team, with a specific focus on Medical Devices. This role is critical to the success of our operations and requires a professional who is deeply experienced in quality assurance, lean six sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our medical devices meet all necessary quality standards and regulations, and will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform quality inspections and audits on medical devices, ensuring that all products meet necessary quality standards and regulations.
2. Utilize lean six sigma methodologies to identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency across our operations.
3. Conduct root cause analysis on any quality issues, identifying the underlying cause of the problem and developing effective solutions.
4. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that quality considerations are integrated into the design and manufacturing process.
5. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection reports, and corrective action reports.
6. Train and mentor other team members on quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest quality assurance trends and regulations in the medical device industry, ensuring that our operations remain compliant and cutting-edge.

Job Details



Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within the medical device industry.
3. Certified in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
4. Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing effective solutions.
5. Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulations in the medical device industry.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
8. Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as independently.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality assurance software.
