The Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help us scale, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that powers our healthcare platform. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to infrastructure reliability, developer experience, and platform security within a highly regulated environment. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers while gaining exposure to a modern DevOps toolset, including ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes.

In this role, you will be key in enabling fast, secure, and cost-effective software delivery, helping us transform the future of food allergy treatment.

What You'll Do

  • Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes (GKE).
  • Collaborate with developers to improve internal tooling and developer experience.
  • Drive cloud cost visibility and optimization (GCP, KubeCost).
  • Participate in incident response.
  • Monitor system health and maintain observability tooling.
  • Write and maintain clear documentation and runbooks.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Contribute to the modernization of legacy infrastructure stacks.
  • Ensure scalable, secure architecture in GCP

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7–8 years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure a plus).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (ideally GKE) in production environments.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing security and compliance best practices across cloud infrastructure (CI/CD, Kubernetes, networking, RDBMS, Redis/Memorystore, GCS/S3, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using observability tools (DataDog, ELK stack, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform), secrets management, and Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in startups or other fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with our stack: React, Kubernetes/GKE, GCP, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries like healthcare.
