A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support within an elementary school setting in San Jose, CA. This contract position, ideal for professionals seeking approximately 20 hours per week, focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to an elementary caseload throughout the contract school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress and facilitate effective interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
  • Eligibility or certification to work as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - School)
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) preferred
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Elementary school located in San Jose, CA

Additional Information:

  • Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
  • Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
