Position: QC Technician
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: TBD
Job Summary:
The QC Technician is responsible for checking incoming products to make sure they meet quality and safety standards before being accepted into the warehouse. This role focuses on inspecting products, recording results, and reporting any quality issues to the Quality team. The QC Technician helps ensure only safe, clean, and approved products are sent to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming products for quality, temperature, damage, labeling, and expiration dates
- Check packaging to ensure products are free from mold, contamination, or defects
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain daily quality logs
- Place products on hold if quality standards are not met and report issues to management
- Assist with investigating product complaints when requested
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and warehouse quality procedures
- Work closely with warehouse staff to address and correct quality concerns
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Participate in quality training, safety meetings, and audits as needed
- Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by the QA/QC team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills (email, simple data entry, Microsoft Office)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including cold temperatures
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Availability:
- Must be open to working overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
