Job Title: CNC Programmer, We will hire mastercam candidates if they're willing to be taught Catia V5 software.
Job Description
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive manufacturing plans for complex components and assemblies, working closely with the planning department. You will research tools and methods, collaborate with tooling vendors, and shop personnel to optimize cycle times and enhance quality. Expertise in drafting and programming using Catia V5 is essential, while experience with Mastercam is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design complete NC programs for complex components and assemblies.
- Investigate tools and methods to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Draft detailed and fully dimensioned drawings in Catia V5.
- Program precision parts for VTLs, 5+ axis mills, multi-spindle machines, and mill-turns.
- Conduct machine simulations and verifications with expert proficiency.
- Engage in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Provide clear work instructions, tool lists, and setup sheets.
- Ensure CAD models and programs meet customer compliance requirements.
- Mentor shop personnel in advanced manufacturing methods and best practices.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Catia V5 and ICAM for post-processing.
- Expertise in programming complex 5-axis parts.
- Knowledge of machining methods for aerospace alloys.
- Experience in CNC programming and Mastercam.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Two years of technical or trade school with certification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with Mastercam.
- Familiarity with aerospace-specific processes and regulations.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.

The pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
