Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students in Sonora, CA. The role involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services to students in grades 9 through 12 within a school setting on a contract basis through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver thorough speech and language assessments and individualized therapy interventions for high school students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing
  • Proven experience working with adolescents, preferably in grades 9-12
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student-centered care and evidence-based therapy practices

Job Details:

  • Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
  • End Date: End of current school year
  • Schedule: 5 days per week, approximately 30 hours weekly
  • Location: Sonora, California
  • Employment Type: Contract
