Job Summary:
The Quality & Testing Inspector position is a full-time role focused on ensuring the quality of transformer assemblies through rigorous testing and inspection. The inspector will perform various tests according to established procedures to monitor compliance with quality standards, document results, and communicate inspection statuses effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to use basic Electrical Test equipment (digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc)
- Able to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform inspection of parts per engineering drawings.
- Able to trouble shoot issues & guide manufacturing team for necessary repair.
- Take ownership of issues and close in a timely manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet required production schedule
- Maintain proper records for test reports and inspection check sheets.
- Able to install nameplates & other accessories as per drawings (Need to be hands on)
- Ability to use Microsoft office products ( Word, Excel, Outlook , PowerPoint etc)
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand electrical theory.
- Bilingual English and Spanish language skills. Spanish speaking shall be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel. Outlook , PowerPoint etc
