About the Role
As the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure and operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, operational leadership, and a focus on ensuring the stability and efficiency of systems critical to software creation, implementation, and maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
- System Uptime & Performance: Ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of all IT systems and infrastructure supporting the online payment software.
- Incident Management: Lead the response to IT incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring swift resolution.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations for payment processing.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of servers, networks, databases, and cloud services.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to IT operational processes, automation, and tooling.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Team Leadership: Potentially lead and mentor a team of IT operations specialists.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce
- Proven experience in IT operations, preferably within the financial technology or online payments industry.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with security protocols and compliance requirements for payment systems (e.g., PCI DSS).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve IT incidents efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, cloud provider certifications) are a plus.
