Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly skilled Associate or Counsel to join its expanding Employment & Labor practice. Position Overview: The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in California employment litigation, advice, and counseling. Responsibilities include: • Conducting legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions. • Representing clients in court appearances, arbitration proceedings, and government investigations. • Drafting and responding to discovery requests, as well as preparing meet-andconfer letters. • Defending employers in individual and class action wage and hour matters, as well as PAGA claims. • Preparing and reviewing employment and severance agreements, workplace policies, and Employee Handbooks.
Requirements
Key Requirements: • 7 to 8 years of experience (ONLY) in labor and employment law, with a strong focus on California employment matters. • Proven track record advising employers and defending complex litigation in both court and arbitration. • Active member, in good standing, of the California Bar (or eligible for admission by waiver).
