Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of experience in civil litigation to join our dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in litigation, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a passion for tackling complex legal challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, collaborate with experienced trial attorneys, and contribute to innovative legal strategies that drive client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies in areas such as intellectual property, antitrust, commercial disputes, fintech, and entertainment litigation.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery materials.
- Assist in trial preparation, including witness interviews, document review, and strategy development.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and hearings under the supervision of senior attorneys.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and deliver client-focused solutions.
- Stay current on legal developments, particularly in areas involving innovative technology, cryptocurrency, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to a team-oriented culture by participating in firm initiatives and supporting junior staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school preferred.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Experience or interest in fintech, intellectual property, or cybersecurity litigation is a plus.
