Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting. This position is located in San Mateo, CA, and offers a contract duration for the current school year (CSY), beginning as soon as possible through the end of the school year (EOSY). Multiple openings are available for qualified candidates holding certifications such as SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or School SLP credentials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification/license appropriate for school settings.
- CCC and/or completion of CFY preferred.
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
