Job Title: Attorney – Class Action (Wage & Hour)
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid/remote flexibility)
About the Opportunity:
A prominent plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking an experienced Attorney to join its Class Action team, focusing on Wage & Hour matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact cases advocating for employee rights, with significant room for professional growth and involvement in complex litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of class action wage and hour litigation, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and legal memoranda for state and federal courts.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations and hearings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active membership in the California Bar.
- 3+ years of litigation experience, with specific experience in wage and hour or employment law preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
