Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with electromechanical systems using troubleshooting techniques and electrical tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Install and configure advanced electromechanical systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex machinery, documenting all findings and actions taken.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Train junior technicians and team members on troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
- Conduct system tests to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Maintain accurate device history records in accordance with ISO 13485.
- Collaborate with engineers to address issues, discuss design for manufacturability, and provide insights from troubleshooting findings.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including PLCs, robotics, and control systems.
- Experience creating clear and concise work instructions and training materials.
- Familiarity with CAD software and diagnostic tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively train others and collaborate with team members and clients.
