Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The CRNA will provide high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of outpatient procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with surgeons and healthcare teams.
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for outpatient surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients intraoperatively and adjust anesthetic plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up to assess recovery and address complications.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in accordance with ASC protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality improvement policies.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness and code situations when necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support ASC efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Current and unrestricted RN and APRN licensure in CA.
  • Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification (PALS preferred).
  • Minimum of [1-2] years of CRNA experience in a similar outpatient or surgical setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-efficiency, low-resource setting.

Working Conditions:

  • MondayFriday schedule; no nights, weekends, or call.
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple short-duration procedures.
  • Requires standing, walking, and assisting with patient transfers.
