Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester contract is available for a certified Occupational Therapist to support middle school students (grades 6-8) in Fremont, CA. This opportunity provides the chance to work directly within a school setting to enhance students functional abilities and promote their success in educational environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to students needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop strategies that support student participation and performance
- Conducting evaluations and progress monitoring in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Providing direct therapy services to middle school-aged children, fostering independence and skill development
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapist License is required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting the developmental and educational goals of middle school students
Position details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of School Year
- Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Location: Fremont, CA (Middle School setting)
