Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for experienced Cath Lab Technicians to support cardiac and neuro interventional procedures in a well-equipped hospital setting. This contract position is ideally suited for professionals skilled in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology, ready to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Position Highlights:
- Location: San Mateo, CA
- Contract role with potential for flexible scheduling during shifts
- Work in a state-of-the-art cath lab with advanced GE and Philips imaging equipment
- Unit composed of 4 Cath Lab rooms staffed by a team of 20 RNs and respiratory therapists
- Day shift hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday; Night shifts on-call by rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac cath lab procedures including heart catheterizations and peripheral interventions
- Assist with stroke and complex neuro interventional cases such as A-fib/Flutter, SVT, and VT
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide recovery care for cath lab patients as part of floating assignments
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current RN license with certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH
- Proven experience in Cath Lab imaging and interventions is mandatory
- Preferred candidates will have neuro and electrophysiology experience
- Strong teamwork skills to fit within a supportive clinical environment
