Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in California requiring a CA RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a PCU within an acute care hospital setting
- Magnet-designated, teaching, Level II trauma center
- Patient population includes progressive care and may float to ICU, telemetry, or med/surg telemetry units as needed
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
- Weekend shifts are required
- No on-call required
- Uses Cerner for charting
- No specific scrub color required, but camouflage or character patterns are not permitted
- Holiday coverage required, with up to 5 days of RTO and 1 holiday off approved
- Block scheduling or specific schedule requests cannot be accommodated
- Free parking available
- Local candidates are accepted
- Assignment may be canceled after three missed shifts

- Current and active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a relevant hospital setting
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Willingness to float within scope to other ICU, telemetry, and med/surg telemetry units as needed
- First-time travelers are accepted
