Job DescriptionDirect Counsel is seeking a Real Estate (Energy & Infrastructure) Associate Attorney (Junior-to-Mid-Level) to join a national law firm in Century City.
Overview
Direct Counsel is recruiting a junior-to-mid-level real estate associate attorney with strong experience in development, financing, and transactional matters relating to utility-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, energy storage, and transmission. Large law firm experience is preferred, though candidates from strong boutique real estate practices will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities

Handle development, financing, and transaction components of major renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects.

Manage small to mid-sized matters and key workstreams on larger matters.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, consultants, and third parties.

Work collaboratively within a high-performing real estate and energy practice group.
Qualifications

2–5 years of real estate transactional experience.

Experience with renewable energy, energy storage, and/or transmission projects strongly preferred.

JD from an accredited law school and active California bar membership.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a team environment.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000 – $365,000, depending on experience and location.
