What you’ll do
- Develop, implement, and monitor food safety programs in accordance with FDA regulations and ISO standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform thorough quality control assessments.
- Analyze data collected from various quality systems and vision inspection systems to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality management practices and ensure adherence to QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) standards.
- Train staff on food safety protocols, quality inspection techniques, and the importance of maintaining a culture of safety.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality performance metrics and present findings to management for continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic qualifications
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, including FDA guidelines and HACCP principles.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality inspections.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality assurance and control.
- Familiarity with Audits, Reviews, and Food Safety
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
