We are seeking a Bilingual fluent Chinese/ English speaking attorney with 0-2 years of Civil Litigation experience that is admitted in CA to join our team. Excellent academics and a commitment to building long standing relationships with clients are a must.

Our well-established law firm is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and detail-oriented Permanent Associate Attorney who is fluent in Mandarin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal industry. The successful candidate will work directly with our clients, providing top-notch legal advice and representation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about law, committed to client service, and ready to make a significant impact on our firm and the clients we serve.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to a diverse client base.
2. Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents including contracts, agreements, and legal memoranda.
4. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute in civil or criminal litigation.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and legal advice.
6. Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the best outcome for our clients.
7. Participate in business development activities, including networking events, client meetings, and presentations.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and changes in the legal industry.
9. Utilize Mandarin language skills to communicate effectively with clients and other stakeholders, translating legal documents as required.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the CA state bar.
3. 0-2 years of Civil Litigation experience
4. Fluent in Mandarin (both spoken and written).
5. Proven experience conducting legal research.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
7. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
11. Proficient in using legal research software and other technology tools.
12. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
