• Great Pay to $90K
Immediate need for paralegal. We are a plaintiff-side employment law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team. While prior experience in employment law is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have either a Paralegal Certification or a relevant degree and be ready to take initiative in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Proofread legal documents for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistent formatting
Prepare Tables of Contents (TOCs), Tables of Authorities (TOAs), and Proofs of Service
File documents with the court, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Organize and manage case files—both digital and physical—including creating and updating files with hyperlinks
Maintain and manage the firm’s calendaring system, providing reminders for key deadlines and appointments
Draft and prepare client correspondence and other written communications
Serve as a point of contact for clients and class members, providing updates and routing inquiries to attorneys as needed
Answer and route incoming phone calls
Conduct and document intake calls with potential clients
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and preparation of materials
Perform data analysis and project-related tasks as needed
Liaise with external vendors including couriers, court reporters, and videographers
Assist with travel arrangements for attorneys, including flights, lodging, and transportation
Perform occasional errands, filing, service, and courier duties (must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license)
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous proofreading abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and stay composed under pressure
Proactive, articulate, and resourceful
Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed
Able to lift up to 25 pounds and handle physical file management as required
Visual acuity to perform detailed document review and formatting tasks
