We are looking for a reliable and attentive Overnight Caregiver to provide weekend support to an individual during overnight hours. The caregiver will be responsible for providing a safe and calming environment, reminding the individual of their preferred bedtime, and ensuring their well-being throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remind the individual when they want to go to bed and assist with a smooth transition to sleep
- Monitor and maintain a safe, quiet, and secure environment overnight
- Be attentive to any needs that may arise during the night
- Light housekeeping tasks if needed during downtime like tidying up common areas
- Medication reminders, if applicable
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with the individual and family
Requirements:Requirements:
- Two valid forms of identification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Negative TB (tuberculosis) test result
- Previous caregiving or overnight experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stay alert and responsive throughout overnight shifts
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to pass a background check
