Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (+5% pay differential for swing shift)
DAY OR SWING SHIFT
Job description:
Responsible for performing routine go/no-go testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Sets up and operates test devices using hand tools and automatic test equipment. Accurately documents test results and may perform simple repairs, component removal, or replacement. Maintains logs and records of test activity and malfunctions.
Shifts Available:
Day shift: 6am – 2:30pm
Swing: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sub-assembly and system-level functional testing using MPI, Work Instructions (WI), Test Procedures, e-Traveler, and other provided documentation.
- Set up and operate manual and automated test equipment to evaluate electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Differentiate between true and false rejects and take corrective action related to test setup or operation.
- Document all test results accurately and maintain logs of malfunctions and corrective actions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, simple repairs, and component replacement when required.
- Follow verbal and written test process instructions to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support overtime and weekend production testing as required.
Education & Experience Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience with 5DX testing equipment (required).
- ICT testing experience preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience testing Telecommunications, Networking, or Switcher appliances (preferred).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Basic understanding of electronic networking appliances.
- Ability to test assemblies using written and verbal instructions or formal test procedures.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required, in addition to a minimum 40-hour work week.
