Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide therapy services at an elementary school located in Murrieta, CA. This contract position is scheduled for the current school year, beginning immediately and continuing through June. The role focuses on supporting students with speech and language needs within an educational setting.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and providing individualized therapy to students with communication disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans that support student progress. Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in ongoing assessments are essential duties to ensure compliance with educational guidelines and to measure student improvements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification or license appropriate for school-based practices
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Ability to design and adapt therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student goals
- Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
