A K-12 school in Hayward, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to students during the current school year on a contract basis. This role requires expertise in speech therapy practices within educational settings to support student communication development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working as an SLP in K-12 schools
- Knowledge of speech-language assessments, individualized education programs (IEPs), and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and educational goals
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for students communication needs
