Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Hayward, CA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to students during the current school year on a contract basis. This role requires expertise in speech therapy practices within educational settings to support student communication development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Experience working as an SLP in K-12 schools
  • Knowledge of speech-language assessments, individualized education programs (IEPs), and intervention strategies
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location:

  • Hayward, California

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and educational goals
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for students communication needs
