Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a Magnet, Level II Trauma acute care setting, requiring a current CA RN license and night shift availability.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within an acute care hospital
- Patient population includes telemetry and medical-surgical cases
- Facility is a Magnet hospital and a Level II Trauma Center
- Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:30)
- Floating required to other ICU/Tele and Med/Surg Tele units as needed
- Electronic charting using Cerner is required
- No on-call required during the assignment
- Weekend shifts are required
- Locals are accepted
- Role may include providing care in ICU/telemetry settings as needed
- Scrubs must be professional with no camouflage or character patterns
- Free parking is available onsite
- Up to 5 days of requested time off and one holiday off are allowed if submitted before an offer
- Coverage for scheduled holidays may be required
- Assignment may be canceled if three shifts are missed
- Block scheduling and specific schedule requests cannot be accommodated

- Active and current CA RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered
