Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support and guidance to enhance the quality of life for our clients through applied behavior analysis techniques.
Duties
- Implement individualized care plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Provide direct patient care, focusing on improving social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess client needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Assist in the development of treatment goals and objectives tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
Skills
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health principles.
- Strong ability to educate clients and families about care plans and interventions.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
