Network Cabling, Audio/Visual, and Land Mobile Radio Infrastructure Technician


Job Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing network cabling, optical fiber backbone networks, Main Distribution frame (MDF), Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) and Audio/Visual (A/V) systems.
  • Work on network & cabling research, analysis, design, work planning, resource scheduling, cost estimation, project management, implementation, testing and documentation services.
  • Remote Radio System Infrastructure: Including radio site equipment such as base station repeaters, antennas, radio tower structures, and DC/AC power supplies.
  • Building Radio System Infrastructure: Including dispatching equipment, networking components, software applications, servers, and logging recorders.
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including but not limited to: Motorola R56, Cal OSHA, NEC, NFPA, City of Los Angeles Building Codes, FCC, FAA, and UL standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • AMP /TE Certification.
  • Corning Certified.
  • Bosh Certified.
  • Registered Communication Distribution Designer.
  • Must possess a California C-10 license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
  • Previous work experience in mass transit preferred.
