Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Watsonville, CA, to serve a regional preschool special education school. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, ages 3 to 5, during the current and upcoming school years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children.
  • Collaborate effectively with two other SLPs to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust therapies to meet student needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the school community.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech and Language Pathologist license in California.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50 students effectively.
  • Commitment to supporting the developmental needs of young learners with speech and language challenges.

Location: Watsonville, California
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the 2025-2026 school year, with likely extension into the 2026-2027 school year.
