Job DescriptionDescription:

The Lead IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and support operations. This role ensures technology initiatives align with business objectives while maintaining high levels of system performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will combine advanced technical expertise with leadership skills to manage projects, and liaison with 3rd party support on technical issues.

$120 - 150k per year

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage and maintain core IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and security systems.

· Provide escalated technical support and serve as the subject matter expert for complex issues.

· Oversee IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.

· Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and security.

· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.

· Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

· Ensure compliance with security standards and implement proactive risk management measures.

· Support on prem and remote user needs with direct device support.


SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.

· Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).

· Hands-on experience with Windows Server management and Active Directory (On-Prem and Microsoft 365).

· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

· Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud security practices, including multi-factor authentication.

· Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud security practices, including multi-factor authentication.

· Relevant Microsoft or AWS certifications preferred.

· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work well within a team.

· Must be able to speak/read/write English.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with Ubiquiti and SonicWall and other network devices.

· Experience with CMMC Implementation.

· Familiarity with additional enterprise IT tools and monitoring solutions.


WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· Office-based role with after-hours support as needed.

· Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
