THIS IS A DIRECT POSITION!!!
Summary
To perform all phases of rework, electronic component replacements on thru-hole and Surface Mount assemblies, and mechanical assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Component fine pitch soldering and de-soldering
Wire crimping and harnessing.
Mechanical assembly using hand tools while performing hardware installations.
Performs various complex electronic assembly operations such as Harnessing and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) builds.
Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing various complex electronic assembly operations.
Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
Records information on production records, logs and other report forms.
Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
Must be able to operate microscope for extended periods of time, follow drawings, torque tools, measuring devices
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
At least a minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be J-STD--001 and/or IPC-A-610 certified
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday within one hour plus/minus of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may at times require long hours and weekend or holiday work reflecting workload and deadlines.
