Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-8 school setting located in Morgan Hill, CA. This position offers a contract for the current school year with the potential for renewal in the 2026-2027 school year. Services will be provided primarily during standard school hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST, serving approximately 40 students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades TK-8.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' communication goals.
- Deliver therapy sessions both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as necessary.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches.
- Maintain detailed, timely documentation and compliance with all educational and legal requirements.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification recognized in the state.
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting.
- Proficiency in both in-person and teletherapy service delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students with varied speech and language needs.
