Job DescriptionField Safety Manager for Construction:Safety Manager will oversee safety for General Contractor on CA High Speed Rail project. Night Shift.Must have:-5+ years experience-OSHA Certification-CHST Preferred
Duration: 3 months - 6 monthsWork Schedule: 40 hours/week. Night ShiftCompensation: $50-60/hourSpecifically, the position involves the following:

• Visiting multiple job sites and conducting safety and health inspections. (Vehicle Required)
• Conducting safety related training
• Ability to interpret and apply OSHA regulations (1926 & 1910). Local building and fires codes as well as other applicable standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Moderate to excellent computing skills
• Ability to work without close supervision and make independent decisions
• Monitor PPE supplies and order as needed
• Be able to write and review JHA’s
• Assist in worker’s comp claims management
• Inspect subcontractor’s work sites

This is a hands on position that requires the ability to work well with project team management.NO THIRD PARTY SOLICITATIONS PLEASE!

Requirements5+ Years Safety Management Experience
OSHA certification
CHST/STS or equivalent certification preferred
