Civil Design Engineer
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Salary: $75,000–$88,000 + Bonuses + Medical/Dental Benefits + 401k + 15 days PTO
Work Arrangement: On-site, Costa Mesa, CA | Flexible Hours

We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing civil engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to planning and designing civil infrastructure projects, working closely with project teams to ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare grading, storm drain, utility, sewer, as-built, and street improvement plans under the guidance of a Project Manager
  • Research, interpret, and apply city standards, codes, and zoning requirements
  • Communicate with agencies and plan checkers, and prepare comment response letters
  • Meet project deadlines efficiently and accurately
  • Adhere to company standards and core values
  • Maintain a positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in land development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes
  • P.E. license is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
