- Demo Ski Technician (Entry Level, Experienced)
General Duties:
- Utilizes product knowledge to assist in selection of demo skis for our demo ski customers.
- Adjusts in-house and customer bindings following manufacturers’ standards.
- Routinely tests function of all rental fleet and customers’ ski bindings.
- Assists in maintaining demo ski and sales inventories.
- Retail sales of skis, ski boots, bindings and other accessories.
- Collaborate with Bootfitters to ensure safety.
- Maintain current binding certifications.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain all shop keeping procedures and general shop keeping as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a ski shop preferred.
- Retail Sales experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Snowsports industry products, with emphasis on skiing.
- Experience with POS and Rental Reservation software is preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a high paced environment.
- Enjoys working in a team environment and helping other departments when needed.
- Desire to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Capable of standing and walking for prolonged periods, lifting moderate weight (<50 lbs).
- Preference will be given to those seeking full-time employment; part-time will be considered with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Individuals with binding certifications &/or experience as ski technician will be given preference.
Compensation: $20-24/hr DOE
