Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Moreno Valley, CA. This short-term contract position spans approximately 8 weeks and involves working onsite to support students developmental and functional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including educators, counselors, and administrators to promote student engagement and success
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions that enhance students participation in school activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience providing OT services within a K-12 educational environment highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other support personnel
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet varied student needs and learning environments
