Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An experienced Occupational Therapist is needed to support students in grades Preschool through 6th grade across two school sites in North Hollywood, CA. This contract position spans from mid-February through the end of the school year, with the possibility of extension into the following school year. The role is based in a K-12 school setting, offering the opportunity to provide specialized school-based therapy services during a regular school schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students developmental and educational needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Schedule and conduct therapy sessions within the school day.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in team meetings and school programs as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven school-based occupational therapy experience is essential.
- Ability to work with children from Preschool to 6th grade effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (7.5 hours per day).
