This role offers an opportunity to provide essential occupational therapy services within a diverse K-12 setting in Morgan Hill, CA. The position is a contract assignment spanning the current school year through the next, designed for an experienced Occupational Therapist with active California licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person occupational therapy services to approximately 50 students ranging from preschool age through high school.
- Serve multiple sites including seven rural schools, one high school, a small school district, and a regional preschool program focusing primarily on children aged 3-5.
- Collaborate closely with a fellow occupational therapist to support and adapt caseload assignments based on experience and student needs.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all educational and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California is required.
- Proven experience working with school-age children, ideally within a K-12 educational environment.
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to varying student needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with school teams, families, and regional programs.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Primarily in-person services across multiple school sites within Morgan Hill, CA.
