This is a part-time Associate therapist position in a private practice setting with flexibility to schedule clients Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 2pm- 8pm and Saturdays anytime between 8am-8pm. Sundays are optional. This may become a hybrid in office and telehealth position once a minimum caseload of 10 is maintained and at the discretion of Shannon Nosenzo, LMFT.
The Associate will receive supervision from Shannon Nosenzo, LMFT who is both an AAMFT designated Supervisor and CAMFT Certified Supervisor or Jeff Goodman, LMFT. One unit of supervision for a caseload up to 10 clients and a second unit for a caseload between 11 and a maximum of 20 clients provided on a consistent day and time with consultation available outside of the supervision hour as needed.
This position requires an Associate who will work with a diverse presentation of people and concerns in the mild to moderate range. Must be interested in working with children, teens and their families, prenatal and perinatal maternal mental health, Veterans and the neurodiverse community.
Individual, couple and family therapy. Conduct biopsychosocial intakes, utilize standardized screening tools, develop individualized treatment plans and discharge summaries, coordinate care with health plans, provide referrals and linkage to community resources.
Must prioritize documentation as part of clinical care and complete within standard timelines including accurate content that reflects the client’s subjective experience, the clinician’s observations, progress and barriers to treatment and next steps to achieve desired outcomes.
The Associate must be willing to accept insurance. The Associate will engage in marketing and networking to generate their own referrals. Referrals will be also made as they come available.
