Salary/comp: Up to 190k total package. Base salary up to 130k + bonus + RSUs
Skills: Must have experience with L2/L2 networking protocols and RDMA technologies such as RoCE
Position Overview
Stellar opportunity to join a leading semiconductor company. We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI and machine learning applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role will involve working closely with development teams to design test strategies and to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and automation frameworks
- Analyze technical specifications to understand system behavior and ensure test coverage
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to execute validation workflows
- Review product documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage multiple testing efforts across concurrent development cycles
Qualifications Required:
- Master's Degree in Engineering OR Bachelors + 2 yrs relevant work experience
- Must have good experience with L2/L3 networking protocols including RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet).
Bonus Points For:
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, including GPU clusters and deep learning workloads
- Hands-on experience with GPU platforms (AMD/NVIDIA), collective communication libraries (RCCL/NCCL), and compute stacks (RoCM/CUDA)
- Proficiency in Python for system-level and network automation
- Experience with network and protocol testing tools (e.g., Ixia, IxChariot, Medusa, protocol analyzers)
- Understanding of PCIe architecture and experience testing PCIe-based systems
- Exposure to deploying and benchmarking deep learning models (e.g., BERT, LLaMA, MLPerf)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
